Salma and Alma’s grandparents didn’t know they existed, but as soon as they learned about these sweet girls, they’ve been working hard to be reunited. Just last week, they traveled for hours to bring them home. As soon as they saw the girls, they showered them with love and affection, holding them tightly. Most every forever family celebration is bittersweet for our team, but we have no doubt the twins will bring the same joy they’ve brought to the Baby Centre to their forever family.
As Irene, our social worker shared, “Home is the best place for a child to be.” As much as we will miss the twins, we praise God that they get to be home with a family who loves them dearly.
