How can such a little toddler have such a mature spirit about him?  Emmanuel Kibet is the youngest boy in his wing; but he stays right in there with the big boys.  Emmanuel is expressive and it is wonderful to see his beautiful smile.  It also breaks your heart when he is sad. Emmanuel loves playing in the "castle", but he also loves to "work" raking and cleaning up the yard.  He has so much potential and we can't wait to see what God has in store for Emmanuel.

Emmanuel Kibet - August 2023

If there was a most beautiful baby in the world contest - Emmanuel Kibet would win it!  He has the softest skin and the most beautiful eyes!  Emmanuel was 7 months old when these pictures were taken in August.  He is a quiet little guy and enjoys the action in the Nursery.  Whenever my camera was pointed at someone Emmanuel would be positioning his body and straining his neck to check out what was going on.  So he is actually in the background of several of the other kids photos!  Emmanuel will be such a blessing to his forever family.  Will you pray they come for him soon!  And in the meantime that he will continue to grow and meet the milestones for his age!

We have a new baby - Emmanuel Kibet!

Meet Emmanuel Kibet.

When Emmanuel came to the Baby Centre in June of this year, he was 5 months old and was very malnourished. After just a little over a month, he was already showing what love, care and food can do. You can see the difference in these two pictures of him. We thank God for watching over Emmanuel in his dire circumstances. We are praising Him for bringing him to us to get the care he needs. Emmanuel is a precious child worthy of so much more than his difficult beginnings.

"For this reason I say to you, do not be worried about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they?"
