When R.E. and F.G. came to the AGC Baby Centre, they were almost 3 months old, but in their short lives, they had already experienced incredible challenges. They came to us malnourished and desperate for love, and our caregivers quickly learned we couldn’t sit them down for a moment unless we wanted to hear their cries through the hallways. So, the entire team came together for these two children, taking turns holding them while on break or whenever anyone could find the time. And over time, we’ve seen incredible transformation in their lives!
Once they were malnourished, but today they are a little chubby. They especially love mashed potatoes with beef soup! Before, we needed to hold them constantly, but today, the twins chat happily when they’re playing on the floor. Once they were without hope. Today, they are thriving in a place of safety and belonging. It reminds us of the truth that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion! (Philippians 1:6)
