This is the day that the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it. (Psalm 118:24) This is certainly a day for rejoicing. Our sweet Jehoram has gone home with a family of his very own! He has two older sisters who are so excited to have a baby brother! What a wonderful family God has made here on earth. The verse prior to the one above says: "This is the Lord's doing, it is marvelous in our eyes." These verses are talking about salvation and becoming a part of the family of God. So, when we see a child here on earth being adopted into a family - we know it if the Lord's doing. We don't take credit for it. He brings the parents and He forms the family. It is his doing. And we can catch a glimpse through this earthly example of what the rejoicing will be when those who are saved go to our heavenly home to live with our Father.
