Brian David went home with his new family yesterday. The Social Worker, Irene, said that when his parents came for him, Brian went right up to them and said "OK, dad, let's go home"! He had to wait around a little bit, though, while they filled out paperwork and got some clothes and things around for him. I happened to see him when he was in the Nurse's office. I said, "Brian, do you get to go home with your new momma and daddy today?" The smile in the top two pictures were my response. The parents called Irene that night to say they had gotten home safely and Brian was doing well. Then they called the next day to say Brian had slept well and was so happy to be "home".
We are so happy for Brian too!
