Baby Christian is just 15 months old, but is facing a big battle. He had a respiratory illness in December and had to be taken to Tenwek Hospital. He recovered, but still has some struggles with his breathing sometimes. He also doesn't have much interest in eating and has not gained weight like he should. While the team was there, he was also ill with a virus that many of the children there were fighting. He looked so miserable, that I just couldn't take any pictures. A missionary couple who fosters children came and picked him up while the team was there. Please pray that under their constant supervision Christian will be able to begin gaining weight and will once again be the healthy and happy little guy we saw when we were there with the October NMC team.
