Phylis has still been struggling to gain weight. She had just come back from Tenwek where they had performed a minor procedure that they hope will help her get stronger. We were very worried about her the one evening when we were there because she had started in with a fever. Several of the children had been sick with fevers. But we were afraid she would be too weak to fight it off! She got over at as quickly as the other kids though! You can tell she is a little fighter. Continue to pray that she gets bigger and stronger each day! And that when parents come for her, she will be healthy and ready to go!

I choose you again because when i see you i think of myself when i was little. i did not go near as much as what you are going through now but i did struggle with weight. I'm glad to see an updated picture on the new giving envelopes, knowing god is faithful and its breath-taking how much you have grown in 6 months! growing up to fast baby cakes :) love you, one day i WILL see you!
